Silver Smokey Eye

Hello Everyone,

Well OMG! It has been a while since I have written a blog post. Awwww I miss it so much First I'm going to start of with why I have been MIA for a while. It actually was a ton of different reason but to sum it up I was super busy with the holidays and work, but now I'm back to the grind of things.

This look was so easy to create and so much fun to do. This particular look would be wonderful for the days that your in a rush to go to a party, club, prom, homecoming, or just on a fun day out.

The look isn't to overwhelming at it may seem look at the picture below its looks super settle when looking directly into the camera.

Ok, Now to let out my secret........

I make YouTube videos now and my first make up tutorial is on this Silver Smokey Eye. :)
Please check out the video below and check out my channel and subscribe if you like.

XOXO,

Diamond Ice

Hello Everyone,
How is your day? Mine is wonderful!

Well today's post is quite "Darling" like if I may say so. It's very toned down (compared to my other post). This look is very pretty especially for prom or a special event. It is very enchanted it almost  reminds me of Cinderella's dress hmmm.... what do you think?

I love the extra detail that I used in this look with the medium sized rhinestones. In all honesty I would probably have used smaller rhinestones and used maybe up to 6 or 7 of them just to make it look a little more glamorous. The eyeshadows I used in this look were all by "Micabella Cosmetics". They have wonderful products that can be used in so many different ways, but this particular time I used them dry just so it wouldn't be so intense in color. Please let me know what you think and where would you where this look to?

Clown? Joker? Jester?

Halloween Look:

Clown? Joker? Jester?

Hello everyone I hope your day is well. Well I had to share this Halloween look with you. I had so much fun like I always do doing make-up looks, but this was especially fun because my boyfriend allowed me to do his make-up.

Well the funny thing is I always thought of this look as a joker, then soon realized that its more of a clown look. Which is always so much fun. I tried to make it a little more glamours by using false lashes well extreme lashes. I also used red glitter on my nose and lips to give a sparkle.

I hope you enjoyed this post to be honest with you I was kind of scared of myself when I finish. Oh by the way can you tell I covered my real eyebrows and drew on fake ones.

Vampy Wing

Hello Everyone I hope your day is well so far.

I always have so much fun writing on my blog, and creating these looks. It takes lots of time, but I feel that it is so worth every minute. I kind of wanted to start this blog by saying thank you to whom ever reads these. I really do get jittery inside and very excited to see that someone actually reads them.

Well as for this look it was extremely fun to do and just so you know my boyfriend was actually like wow! you should totally do that everyday he loved it. :) This look is really fun it kind of tricks people to thinking you forgot to connect your wing liner.

Then, you close your eyes you then see its a complete line. My mom and sister were like "oh, wow! That's cool". I love the way it looks its kind of shows off your eyes especially the color, because there isn't any other shades fighting for attention.

I then, felt it was safe to pair it with a hot pink lipstick. I also went ahead and outlined my lips then blended it with black to give my lips a little definition.

And don't forget to color in your eyebrows a little bit, because the look is dramatic and completely wash mine out.

I hope you enjoyed this look. I know I really enjoy all the looks I have created and would hope you did as well.

Colorful Spiked Eyes

Halloween Anyone?

I hope your day has been good so far. I just wanted to write a little about this particular make-up look that I created on myself. I orginally wanted to make it an extreme wearable look and yes "wearable" but kinda got carried away with COLOR. This was so fun to do, but took a long time mainly because I wasn't quite sure where I was trying to take this look. This would be a cute make-up look for halloween especially if your like me and never really dresses up, but wants to do something creative.

What did I do?
I used a white eyeshadow base all over my eye and kinda got carried away and used it to make my skin look even more ghostly white. Then, used several of the chubby eyeshadow pencils to make my spikes on my eye and lower lash line trying to make the lines as straight as possible. Then, picked out the colors I wanted to use to fill in my spikes. The lips are really cool I used a lip balm first and then put a green eyeshadow on top, and in the center to give it an ombre kinda look I used a gold to show that my lips had some dimension. Oh and as for my eyebrows I colored them with a white chubby pencil and place shadows on top just to lighten and color them you know just depending on which side your doing.

I think this would look completely awesome to have both eyes look the same using which ever side is your favorite.

I hope you enjoyed this post like I said before this was so fun.

Mega Winged Liner

Hey Everyone,

Well today's post is a little different this look it is a "MEGA WING." I had so much fun creating this it is a softer winged look; which later I will probaly be posting a more dramatic wing look that also starts from the crease. As for this look it was super simple and fun the outter wing is with eyeshadow so it was easy to keep it soft but dramtic at the same time. Trying to make it more of a shadow of the small liquid winged liner. I think this would be fun for a night out or if your a little more risk taking I would rock this out during the day.

XOXO

Makeup Tip # 2: Eyeshadow

“Hmmmm… have you ever wondered what is the point of wearing eyeshadow?” Well in my opinion eyeshadow is worn to draw attention to the eyes, to give the eyes more definition, and of course it makes us feel gorgeous :D. However, not all eyeshadow forms are easy to apply, nor do they do any justice for your eyes.
Eyeshadows can be complicated to apply depending on what form you have chosen to use. When choosing eyeshadows you want to try to use colors that best complement not only your skin tone but your personality. No matter what your skin tone is, all that matters is your self confidence. When wearing bright, bold, or neutrals colors on your eyes; you should make sure that your personality shows through in your creation.
Types Eyeshadow:
  • Powders
  • Loose Eyeshadow
  • Pigment Eyeshadow
  • Mineral Eyeshadow
  • Compact Eyeshadows (original) :D
  • Cream Eyeshadow
  • Pencil Eyeshadow
  • Liquids Eyeshadow
** I am sure there are other types these are just the most common ones. **
When applying eyeshadows you should take into consideration about what you are using to apply them with. Most people do not think that it truly matters what you use to apply the shadows with, but it is almost as important as it is to pick out what colors you’re going to use. When choosing the right brushes to use it helps create a beautiful picture on your eyelids. (Not literally) :D

Types of Brushes:
  •  All over the eye Brush
  •  Crease Brush
  •  Blending Brush
  •  Highlighting Brush
In my own personal opinion I feel to create a more defined, beautiful, and clean look these are the brushes to use.
Thank you for reading if you have any questions please ask :D I will be glad to help in any way possible. I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday.
XOXO

Makeup of the Day

Today has been a very chilled and relaxed day.  I went to school and then work, the look I have on today is just quick and simple. I used a primer all over the eye and just a natural cream color on top. Then I used perfect wear liquid liner from Avon in “Evening Black” in my opinion it is one of the best ones they have. I just lined the top of my lash line and extended the liner to make a winged cat eye. Next I got a vibrant bold color which I used a bright neon turquoise blue to line my lower lash line to add a pop of color; that away the look isn’t too simple. Lastly I used the Shock mascara from Avon in “Black” it is AWESOME because it lengthens and thickens my lashes without any clumps. I hope everyone’s day is going good I am just extremely excited that I am turning “21” tomorrow! I can’t believe that time is going by so fast. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day.

Makeup Look #1

Ash R. is featured in this picture

In this look I used the eyeshadow quad from Avon called “Earth Tones". This particular way that I applied the eyeshadow was to define and contour the crease and outer corners of the eyes. I first applied an eyeshadow primer (which I will post a blog about very soon), then applied the goldish color called "Citrine" to the entire eye lid using a fluffy eyeshadow brush to show the contrast of each color or as it is know as the "back ground color". After that you try to focus more on the crease color which I used the brown/merlot color called "Truffle" using a small or a detailed eyeshadow brush will help to form the winged look on the outer corner. Also using the same brush drag that same color through the hollow of your eyes to give more of a dramatic allusion. Now to add a little pop of color to this look I used the greenish color called "Safari Green". Using a flat eyeshadow brush I put the green in the inner corner of the eyes, also make sure you use the patting technique so you don't over power the look with the green. Last before applying your brow bone color use a blending brush to blend out any harsh line you may have, and also to blend together the brown and green color in the middle of the crease. Finally use the lightest color in the palette which is call "Canvas" to highlight your brow bone. Now your look is complete, and to finish the rest of your makeup use your favorite foundation, blush, and a more neutral color for your lips. I hope you all enjoyed this look and if you have anymore question please feel free to ask. :)

Makeup Tip # 1

Lip Balm:
Keeping your lips moisturized is important. In my opinion I feel that using a lip balm is a necessity in everyone’s daily routine.  Keeping your lips moisturized will lower your chances in having chapped and cracked lip and will help the burning sensation that you might feel when your lips are at the beginning of getting chapped. There are tons of lip balms that I have tried, and so far there are 3 that work the best for my lips and that I am absolutely in love with.
1.       Moisture therapy lip balm- This lip balm is very affordable and has a wonderful texture when being applied to the lips. Also you can purchase this lip balm from Avon and it is only $1.50.

2.       Aquafina Hydrating Lip balm- Their lip balms are made for hydration and contain botanicals of jojoba oil, almond oil, and vitamins. Also this lip balm is a little bit minty, which is a personal favorite. You can purchase this lip balm at a drugstore and they are about $4.99 for a pack of 3 lip balms.

3.       Dew Kiss- This lip dew is very moisturizing and is made to leave a dewy finish to your lips. You can get this lip balm also from Avon for only $.99.
I hope that this was helpful and this is just the first makeup tip that I have for you. There are plenty more tips that I have about makeup, beauty, and fashion. I will also be expressing my opinion on many of the items that I mention in my blogs. J

A little bit about my day:
Today has been a good day so far this morning I went to school and had a test. (?) I feel I did well but you never quite know until you get your grade. J I have also had a good day at work too; it has been a steady and calm day. Which every now and then it’s a good thing. Well I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed day.
